An Update from Joseph Shirley

Hello my friends,

If you’re here, it’s probably because you know me and you’re wondering what’s happening with Enteleos. Here’s the latest:

Spring Cheng

Spring Cheng

First, I’m incredibly fortunate to be partnering with a most amazing woman, Dr. Spring Cheng. Spring is a former molecular bio-statistician working at the forefront of genomic research. More recently she earned her LAc and has been working as an acupuncturist. Spring grew up in China and also brings a lifelong affinity with and study of the millenia-long traditions of Taoism.

What she brings to the Enteleos endeavor is a perspective both broad and deep, coupled with piercing insight and artistic sensitivity. She has found Enteleos Feeling Work to be directly relevant and useful in bringing the ancient teachings of both the Tao and Traditional Chinese Medicine into a modern framework.

Together, we have been establishing a collaboration which ties the ancient with the modern, the inner with the outer, art with science, the intellect with the heart. We have traveled widely differing paths to arrive here, and we have spent the past year dropping the baggage accumulated on those paths, to be able to meet one another fully in this collaboration.

We are launching our collaboration at WhyFeelingMatters.com. This will be our home on the internet, our place to share our work with you and others. There we will be posting the very latest in our explorations of feeling as an essential ingredient of our civilization’s transition to maturity. We will share our perspectives from the east and west, and provide simple methods by which we can all place feeling closer to the center of our lives. Please visit us there to take part.

Over the coming months and years, we intend to reach out to people all over the world who are moving this mission forward in various ways. We want to nurture communities of people devoted to placing the wisdom of feeling at the center of our culture. To this end, we hope to reach a point where we will establish a non-profit organization to carry out this vision. This, Enteleos.org, will be the home of that organization.

I want to thank everyone who has supported me over the years, as this vision has slowly come together. It’s been a long road, and a very satisfying one. Please join me in this next phase of the journey, and visit us at WhyFeelingMatters.com. We look forward to seeing you there!
